Who we are. The Prize Lounge is operated by The Prize Lounge LTD, registered in England & Wales (company number 17213753), of 40 New Road East, Portsmouth, PO2 7RS ("we", "us"). By entering our competitions you agree to these terms.
Eligibility. Entrants must be 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom. Employees of the operator and their immediate families may not enter.
How entries work. Entry is by purchasing one or more tickets on this website and correctly answering the qualifying skill question, or free of charge by post (see Free Entry Route below). Entries with an incorrect answer are not entered into the draw and are not refunded. Each competition states its ticket price, closing time and maximum number of entries.
The draw. Winners are selected by a verifiably random draw, streamed live at the advertised time (Wednesdays at 7pm UK time unless stated otherwise). The winning ticket number is selected from all valid entries — paid and postal entries have an equal chance.
Prizes. Cash prizes are paid by bank transfer within 7 days of the winner confirming their details. Winners are contacted using their account details and announced on our Winners page and social channels (first name only, unless you agree otherwise). If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days a redraw may take place.
Our rights. We may cancel or extend a competition if fewer than the minimum viable entries are received; in that case entrants will be refunded or offered entry into the following draw. We may refuse or void entries that breach these terms.
Liability. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability to any entrant is limited to the amount they paid to enter. This agreement is governed by the laws of England & Wales.
What we collect. Your name, email address, encrypted password, and your entry and order history. If you pay by card, payment is processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
How we use it. To run the competitions you enter: allocating your ticket numbers, contacting you if you win, and showing your entries in your account. We do not sell your data or send marketing you haven't agreed to.
Where it lives. Account, order and ticket data is stored in the site's managed Netlify Database. Payments are handled by Stripe.
Your rights. You can ask for a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time by contacting us at [contact email]. We keep order records as long as legally required for accounting purposes.
You can enter any competition without payment. Send an unenclosed postcard with your full name, address, email address, date of birth, the competition you wish to enter, and your answer to that competition's skill question to:
One entry per postcard. Postal entries must be received before the competition closes and have exactly the same chance of winning as paid entries. Illegible or incomplete entries cannot be accepted.
Our competitions are meant to be fun. Set yourself a budget and stick to it — the per-person ticket limit on every draw exists for that reason. If you'd like us to exclude you from entering, email [contact email] and we'll apply it within 48 hours.
